How to remove copper exhaust gasket?

I am replacing my exhaust gasket today. How do I remove it correctly? Is there a special tool? It a copper crush gasket.

Use a screwdriver, they usually pop right out.

Really? That seems kind of hack to me. Also what's the best way to install them back.

Use a small flat blade screw driver or a pick, and the new one just goes in the hole where the old one came out...

You could take the head to a machine shop & have it machined out but a simple screwdriver works fine.

Umm that would be a lot of work just to take a gasket out. I got it out with a screw driver though. Every time I try and do something, it doesn't just pop out lol. This time it did thank god. Thanks

Lol I generally don't work on my bike by hammering on it or using screwdrivers to pry shit out. I tried it for a while and the thing slipped. I am not a fan of prying seals out with screwdrivers it makes things a lot worse most of the time. Thanks
