Race gas

I've got a half can of VP110 race fuel that has been sitting in my garage for a month still in the metal canister. Do you think it's still safe to use in my 250. Just worried about low octane and detonation. Thanks guys

It's good to go.

if its sealed in a metal can at room temp or less, it would be fine if it sat a year or 2. its fine.

And if your motor is stock, you need to read these two threads. Timing needs tobe set to stock, and the stock head is terrible from the factory and it needs tobe fixed. to 1mm squish. with proper timing and a much more efficient head set up, you would make more power on pump fuel than what you are getting now.

Race fuel technially has an indefinite shelf life unlike pump fuel which over time can varnish . My only concern is depending on the ambient air temps and humidity of where you have the fuel stored, you might have some moisture in the fuel. Might be a good idea to add a small amount of drygas just in case.
