2006 Yamaha YFZ 450 grinding noise

I just went riding and I noticed there were a few things that were not right with my yfz 450 this trip. The first thing was that when I would be in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear, I would hear a grinding noise coming from the engine when I had it pinned, and on straight aways, it revved way too high in 5th gear.  I couldn't give it full throttle without it sounding like I was doing a steep hill climb in 1st gear.  and the last thing I noticed was that my coolant tank was bone dry after just filling it up.  I checked for a crack or leak anywhere but could not find anything.  If you know what the problems id appreciate some help finding out what these problems are. thanks

Did you check your clutch? Sounds like it may be slipping (high revs), a chuck broke off (grinding noise) and those extra revs caused an overheat of the engine (loss of coolant).
