I tried their website and had no luck with these numbers.

Anyone help me crack the code?

Thanx in advance!

Bike is a 2003 YZ 125, wondering if this cylinder is stock bore or larger....

I know the letter "A" means the bore was set to match an "A" piston.  If you have a metal multi shim type head gasket it's a 144 big bore.

That's strange, Athena either used dual orings (which you can't see as the head sits completely flat on the cylinder) or steel multi-shim gasket. Maybe you have some type of older Athena 125cc kit that uses a single gasket that i'm not familiar with

Yeah I figured it was either a stock/ OEM replacement barrel or pumped up a bit.

Probably had a piston failure at some point. I received the bike with the athena cylinder/ head already on it.

Was trying to avoid cracking it open.

Thanx again!

And as far as I've seen, the Yamaha (250 at least) uses the o-rings under the head as well.

You are right. I just checked it out and it is a "stock bore" replacement kit for a 97-04. Hope this helps.

Thank you! How'd you locate the info? Sorry for the late reply!
