Help with my Edelbrock. Quick question

When I am turning the red adjustment knob on the top of the carb which way is more lean? Clockwise or Counter Clockwise?

I've never worked with a car carberator, but I'm guessing it would be clockwise. Tightening the screw=less fuel going by= more lean

I guess more detail would be better! 2007 DRZ 400SM with the Edelbrock carb.

Have not seen an Edelbrock question in years.  Rise the needle is rich. lower the needle is lean.  So I assume CW is rich.

Good luck with tuning it......edelbrock carbs are junk...

 

You can not tune individual fuel circuits...ie  idle, needle and wot circuits..

 

No offence intended , just calling it the way I see it...

Real funny guys. 

 

I did get it tuned, changed the oil and plug. Seems to idle much better now. 

 

Next issue is a stretched throttle cable. The damn thing will not snap closed. Just stays open or has a slow return.

That doesn't necessarily mean a stretched cable, my bikes throttle was wacky and it turned out I had dirt in between the throttle tube and the handle bars

Cleaned and lubed the cables. All is well now.
