Worn damping rods

I am changing fork seals and freshening up the forks on my 2008 Yz250 and noticed that the anodizing on the damping rods is worn off on one side of each rod at the top of the stroke, it's about a 2 inch long wear spot. It still feels smooth and doesn't seem scratched, just worn through the coating. First off, is this a problem? I assume that the bushings are worn and caused this so they should probably be replaced along with the seals. Should I replace the rods too? And if so where would I buy the parts from? Yamaha just sells the complete cartridge assembly.
