Please help installing a tire

Recommended Posts

if the tire is directional there will be an arrow on the sidewall, if not, it doesn't matter.

When the knobs wear down on one side, turn it around and mount it the other direction.

Does not matter.  Install that tire which ever direction you feel like.

I have stopped turning tires around after slamming into people in the first turn of a race I did many years ago.   When you turn the tire around, the rounded edges now become your braking edges, and you will have very poor rear stopping power, and poor control.

Now, I'm not saying DON'T do it, as I did do it, but your braking quality will suffer very badly.
