ID a Chinese Engine?

Can anyone tell me what brand this engine is?

And what is interchangeable with a real Honda?

It looks like a Lifan, but I wouldn't swear to it.

I would guess the same thing.  However, there are chinese clones of chinese clones.  Call up T-Bolt and I think they can help to see if the number matches their Lifans that are in stock.

I'm pretty sure it is a Lifan mainshaft-clutch-mount that has a 52.4mm bore x 49.5mm stroke. Not really interchangable with OEM Honda parts, for a variety of reasons.

I have a Lifan that is the 54 X 54 125. Because of the kickstarter I was using, the stock sidecover wouldn't work. I used the clutch cover from a Honda and had to mix and match parts from the two, but it works fine. Depending on the parts you want to change over, some work and some don't. If you have a spare Honda engine, just try it. Luckily, I have about 20 of the Hondas!
