2008 yz250f popping hard on deceleration lean?

does anyone know the stock jets of a 2008 yz250f? also how many turns out should the air fuel screw be set at???? it running 100% but the popping on deceleration and pipe seems to be a little hotter than it should be... also if I turn the screw out is the ricker or leaner???? thanks

Fuel screw is for idle only. Set for a perfect idle whith a hot engine.

You have a race bike, it is not meant to coast.

Make sure you have no exhaust leaks and that the packing in the muffler is good.

In = leaner, Out = richer

what would I want to change? main jet? or pilot jet? one or both of them need to be bigger

None. You have a race bike, probably with an aftermarket exhaust. Ride it like a race bike, service the exhaust.

If u do change any thing, the main.

changed mail, 178 to 180. no different. out about 1/8th on mixture screw little bit better... it has to be a bigger pilot jet

3-5 decel pops is great jetting. More than that is a problem. Turn that fuel screw more and see what kind of diff it makes. 1/8 turn won't do much. 1 full turn should be noticeable.
