Bottom end wicked hot, slight header glow.

So I just rebuilt my water pump with hot Rod bearing kit and seals and installed a new motion pro hot start cable. Ever since I put it back together the bottom end is so hot you could cook an egg on it. It still runs great and has no problems idling/starting. I checked the hot start connection to make sure it wasn't stuck open and spayed some water around the threads to make sure it wasn't sucking in air. I also took the water pump cover off and made sure the water pump impeller spun easily and the mounting bolt was tight. I'm not boiling over and it just seems to be running way to hot. Also checked my oil screen and only found a little bit of silicone in it. Any ideas? I'm lost

They're wouldn't be something inside the clutch side cover I installed wrong to restrict oil flow would there ?
