'09 450 XCF: accelerator pump cover or not?

I've always put one of these on all my bikes but after doing a little research on the net and on here I keep hearing about how the KTM has too much fuel from the pump, thus is rich on the pump and not lean. Of course I can't get verification on which models and engines this applies to and if this advice is correct or not? 

 

Can someone who has experience with the FCR on the 450XCF please chime in and set the record straight? Am I gaining anything with a new pump cover or do I need a new diaghram or what?
