Got fmf questions

Got a 2000 XR100R dirtbike with stock exhaust. Wondering if I get a new FMF powercore 4 will I need to reject it? And anyone know how loud these are and if they sound good on my bike? Thanks all replies appreciated, Matt

My XR200 has an FMF powercore pipe and did not need re-jetting. Check the FMF website...I think it will say if the bike needs re-jetting or not.

i never did an fmf on a xr100 but did pro circuit on a crf230 and fmf on a crf250. both bikes sound great.  not sure if you need to re-jet but to get good power gains you should re-jet. its not hard to do. why not just do it. a jet costs all of $2

Reject it like it's that Ex that screwed you over a long time ago.

Re-jetting it would bring better response and power, in addition to the pipe.
