yep, it's a drz. you can see what it needs mechanically in the FAQ section. otherwise, run 100 gallons of gas through it with your buddys and change pieces as needed.

Have the same bike that I bought off the show room floor, did the 600 mile service and then I installed the following:

FCR39-mx (Thumper Talk kit)

MRD-SSW

3x3 MOD

14 tooth front sprocket.

Zeta hand guards with LED Turn Signals

DRC Rear LED Tail light

DRC LED Turn signals in the rear.

A fun ride.

Good price for a clean bike,  newer with low miles,   i say go for it.

+1....Id try to bargain a bit, but for that amount it seems like a good deal....join the club!  :D

The bike looks good and has a nice price , you should ask for a ride first as the DRZ may seem a bit underpowered for you aswell as softly sprung . But its nothing your wallet cannot fix , welcome to the club , greg  :aussy:

It looks immaculate on the outside....which is often a reflection of overall condition....but not 100% of the time...

Take it for a spin and see how it runs......the price sounds good for a "REAL S"... :ride:

Agreed MODs are just fun and allow you to tweak your bike and more importantly learn on what makes it tick and why... all the while getting an increase in performance.

Ok went and looked............ I'll be picking her up next couple days. So clean and nice great bike. Plus 1.75% interest.......

Why take money outta the bank?

I'm a little excited.

I wonder how she'll do on the track?

Congrats mate.....

It generally won't be really suitable as a track bike in std trim....But I guess it depends on the type of track and how fast you want to go...
