Drive Chain Auto-Lube?!?

Recommended Posts

2011 520RS, 278 hours, 6900 miles.

FYI ... the Betas use a large bevel washer to hold the cs sprocket in place, just like the KTMs, Gas-Gas, etc... And just like them, when that washer "relaxes" and you lose tension on the cs sprocket, the o-ring behind the sprocket will seep a little oil & lube your chain. Shimmed the bevel washer to tighten up & oil leak went away. I have dirt tricks better bevel washer on order.

Are you still in the original piston? Any engine work in the 200+ hours?

Yes.  No engine work, just maintenance.

Oil, filters, 2 valve shims, and 1 spark plug are the only new items in the motor. Castrol GTX (10w40 dino) in motor & tranny.

Best dirtbike I've owned in +40 years of riding!
