RHC cam Lobe Centers?

Hi,

I have rhc 187 and 208 cams with adjustable sprockets.

I want to check the Lobe centers on them.

Is there a definitive number for the LC's?

Anyone?

RHC 187 EX <- i think 106

RHC 208 IN <- i think 108

Greets!

That should work just fine. Be sure to check your valve to piston clearence.

Hi James!

Thanks for that.

How much should the V/P clearance be?

I wouldn't go any less than .030 on the In. and .050 on the Ex. These are bare minimums, more would be better.

What are the 208 specs, has the ice cube kit been reliable with your build, must be well up there hp wise with your specs, cheers

208 has more lift then 187 for extra midrange HP and 3 degrees more duration.

It is an intake-only improved version of the 187 cam. (approx 1.5 hp and some extra TQ)

Only for BB/Strokers.

Not sure what kind of HP it makes now, Dyno said 54 with 36 ft lb last year before head and cam change. Stronger now but I don't know by how much. The Ice Cube has been totally reliable. I have over 5000 miles on it and no problems at all. I did ring it last year and will this winter too just to keep it fresh.

RHC 208: (Web 208 grind)
IN .407" lift 280* adv dur (258*@ 0.050")

RHC 187: Web 943 grind

EX .356 lift 277* adv dur. (257*@ 0.050")

Serious horsepower for a DRZ, the 208 has massive lift, pretty much a webcams 539 grind, nice one, Im tooing and froing between a 94 or 96mm bore, I think 94mm might be the way to go for me being halfway round the world, cheers for your reply
