Thing starts with the kicker no problem.. Replaced battery, charged.. Still no start?
solenoid, ground strap, button-all can do it
Check the ten amp fuse in in the air box r side . Its part of the relay held in place by a rubber strap.
Did you figure out what the problem was, curious minds want to know.

Most likely a fuse. I had my 09 450rr apart for valve adjustment, and somehow a surge ran through the electrical system and fried a fuse. My gauges haven't been right ever since and until I changed the fuse, the e-start was no-start.
This is my guess. It's burnt on me before.. nice simple fix. I was fooling with the horn and bumped wires and the fuse went one time.
