help fixing broken keihin PJ carb for cr500

I broke the choke which also acts as the idle, not sure how to get the part in the carb out, anybody now?  Thanks,

I know what I would would do but it could get ugly. It looks like threaded choke body is made of plastic. How did you break it?

unfortunatly it snapped when I was pulling the carb out last night, already ordered a new one just not sure how you get it out... its a 1991 so I am sure the plastic was brittle as well,

Try to spinn the plastic out with a small pick or grab the broken stem with vice grips and pull till the plastic threads give up

Maybe wedge a screwdriver in there and gently twist and see if it turns. Maybe use some kroil or PB blaster first.

I did exactly the same thing.  Drilled a small hole into the brass and used an EZ out.  Worked like a champ.
