Top dead center?

I was watching a video and the guy said the first mark is the right one.. It appears my bikes timing chain has been a tooth or two off correct? ImageUploadedByThumper Talk1382183664.795440.jpg

I moved it around a little to try to get the cam mark closer to the line and the bottom mark is def more towards the right mark. I have a service manual, new timing chain and manual tensioner otw but I was just wondering if this is why the motor hasn't been revving all the way out.

The 2nd mark is the right one , once you line that up you will find that your timing is good .

When the second lines up the cam mark is off.. Thinking maybe that chain is bout beat.

In your photos it appears to be correctly timed. Line up the right-most mark on flywheel.
