Help!

This is going to seem dumb but I can't get my axle bolt back in. I've loosened the 4 bolts that clamp and the axle bolt is greased. Is this a common problem? Do I need to pry the clamp apart more? ImageUploadedByThumper Talk1382378810.358567.jpg

Never mind just needed another hand

hey, man, what part of Idaho?  Heading up there this weekend.

If that large end of your axle does not rotate freely in the fork lug, you will get binding in the forks.

Clean out the corrision, grease it, wire wheel it, what ever it needs so it is not stuck when you clamp down the lug bolts.

Otherwise, the right fork leg will not be in alignment with the left one.

Axle has to go in there pretty straight. Fork cannot be kinked at any kind of angle or it will bind.
