2013 Crf250r bad cam chain tensioner gasket

Recommended Posts

Noticed a puddle of oil under my bike this morning and found out that it was from the cam chain tensioner so I'm going to replace the gasket. Do I need any special tools or can I use a screw driver and vise grips? Anyone else ever encounter a bad cam chain tensioner gasket?

Vise grips? Lol 8mm socket and/or open end wrench and a very small flat head to release tension in the tensioner...
