1986 TRX200SX quits after 2 hours.

Hello,

I have this 1986 trx200sx I have always maintained very well.  It starts fine and idles fine.  But after a couple of hours of riding it will just quit and will not start. usally will have to tow back to camp. After a few hours it will restart and idle just fine.

Anyone have this happen or Ideas on where to start on a fix?

You may have a CDI box going bad. Sounds electrical.

I was thinking CDI also...I think I will replace both the CDI and the coil..Thanks for the advice..I am going out to Ocotillo Wells on NOV 15 I will post back if it works..
