2013 plastics on 03-08 KX125/250

Recommended Posts

Ive seen a thread or 2 on here about it but never saw any successful follow ups. Might buy a set and see if i could make some mounting brackets. Ive attached a picture I found on instagram. I asked how he got them on amd said that buddy drilled new holes. Ill ask him to post/send me some pics of the plastics where the holes are or what the brackets look like. My biggest concern would be the rear end. Follow-up/update soon.

P.s. - Bike looks sexy as all hell with the plastics.

That is just plain awesome! Let us know cause I'd give it try.

I know the shrouds, front fender, front # plate and MAYBE rear fender could fit with a new hole or two, but I'm curious as to if it would just need an airbox off the 13/14 or an airbox & subframe with some mods. I hope hes decent with english, because if not, I may not hear back! ? I'll post an update when I get ahold of him.

Heres all the pictures he sent me! I can only post links because I can't figure out how to save them to my computer.

And at the bottom of the email it says
"Maker of the dirtbike: Twan van Liere - Magicracing"  Googled him and couldnt find anything, also googled Magic Racing and all that came up was a dealer in Michigan. From the looks of the pics and looking at my bike, it looks like no mods must be done to mount the shrouds (won't know until one of us attempts it). I'm majorly surprised by how perfect the plastics SEEM it line up. I cant see any extra holes drilled? I'm curious as to how the air box will fit the sub frame. Pictures showing just the plastics and the bike with no plastics would have been awesome, but I'll take what I can get. I'm wondering where I can find a 12-14 450- 13-14 250f air box. Looked on ebay and can only find a 13 450 one for $100 I believe. I want to try to pay less than $140 plus shipping from Motosport. Let me know what you guys think! ?

Thanks for posting man. I don't think the pictures helped much I hate to say. But I will order all parts and give it a go. I am not the fastest at doing this kind work so it may take some time but I'll take detailed photos.

PS He appears to be using the stock air box?

Theres a long and slim and hole on the side and a cutout for the rear shock
