clutch cover redone on yz250

so i took off the old magnesium paint and buffed it up and painted the logo black ask me any questions u got

Not trying to be rude... just letting you know that you are not the first to do it.

 

I did the same on my 96 Yz250 build. How do you think mine looked? It was a LOT worse than yours.

 

Like I said... it turned out great!

I recently done my magnesium cover on my cr but it gets dull just sitting. Not sure how to keep it shiney other than the polishing constantly. The original poster's as well as the others look good though.

you don't need it shiny, just free of paint. Why do they always paint them anyway?

I used acetone.

wire brush on a drill and wd40 will do it

i took fine sand paper and steel wool and used some mineral spirits
