hitting ramps???

has anyone in here ever hit a ramp???

What type of ramp are you talking about?

Interesting first post. :)

Care to elaborate a bit?

Do you mean loading/unloading ramps?

If so, yeah I've bumped a few with my truck when backing up.

If you mean "ramps" as in man-made jumps....... hells no.

Ive hit rabbits, squirerels, cars, trees, birds, bongs, pipes, but never a ramp. You hittin the bong? :)

Not necessarily in that order right Zac?

Ya I remember when I was about 7 or 8. Ya know, Evil Kenievel was the man!!!! I had a little automatic Indian 50. We made little ramps ya know about 12" off the ground with a landing ramp placed about 16" way. Never do remember getting hurt doing it.

I've hit my head a few times but I don't remember ever hitting a ramp!! :)

Yeah?!? Uh, what about the splifs?????????????

What are ya smokin space cowboy?

Have you ever communicated before? :D

What we have here is a failure to communicate. :D

:) Must be French.

Yeah. I hit an ant once.

On your old bike, you know the toasted one. What kind of tank was on it? Did it happen to be a Clarke natural color tank? I was just wondering cuz thats what I have on one of my 426's and it cracked right under the frame pad. We were about 10 miles from the trucks and I smelled gas. It was dripping on to my header pipe and hissing. I made it back but I was nervous and prepared to bail at any time. The tank only had 2 rides on it!! Sent the tank back and I'am waiting to see what they are gonna do.

      Yo kids ,
we just did our annual run to blind Indian today and the other fun stuff the area has to offer , conditions were purely awsome after the storms last night, the #211 trail needs some activity , doesn't look like shes getting used too much , we kicked a bunch of rocks off ,broke some nasty dead branches , etc , still passable , the 1st uphill with switch backs has been storm washed exposing aggregate but thats not suck a bad deal ( traction was pretty good ) , she needs to see more riders ...put this on your agenda, grab some like minded trail hoppers and lets keep this trail fresh

Trying to buy an older yz125 w a green sticker. I came across a 2004 that is green sticker. Per the owner "CA used to do a lottery thing on a certain year and bike and it was the 04 125 that got the green sticker".
I am gonna confirm the VIN, but was wondering if it's in fact true that CA issued green stickers with a lottery system for 2003 and newer bikes?
I tried searching and couldn't find anything.
Thank you all for you advice.

I just picked up a 2018 YZ250X and need to do my break in. How gnarly is Rowher Flats after rains like we just had? I'm thinking about heading there Sunday. I moved to LA last year and I've only been there 3 or 4 times, but so far I enjoy the riding there more than most of the "day trip" locations.
Not the biggest fan of Hungry Valley, but I imagine HV is ok despite the rain this week.
Side note, how bad does the road in to RF get after weather like we just had?
