How do I know when MAIN jetting is off?

I have an 02 YZ250F with a White Brothers R4 pipe and a PowerNow. I ride a lot of MX and I'd like a bit more power on WOT. It doesn't pop on decel or hang on idle, it revs all the to the rev limiter. The main is a 178, which is stock. I have a 180 and a 182 on order. How will I know if the jetting is too rich on the main?


If you get to rich on MJ it will miss at higher RPM's, and feel like you are hitting the rev. limiter, but to early. Lean on MJ will feel weak.
