You could say we are spoiled......

I just realised we European trail riders are getting spoiled in the 450 segment.

Here is what we can buy this year:

And this is not in any particular order.

Don't shoot me if I left something out....

The well known Yamaha WR450:

Yes, the honda is nice.

But it always gets the same review in all magazines:

Great engine

too short gearing

mx suspension

no happy button

way overpriced (2000 euro's more than Ktm or Yamaha)

I like it, but prefer 100% enduro bikes.

The TM is rated as the most race oriented enduro in Europe,

comes with Ohlins suspension... but a engine not for leisure..

The Husqvarna is Getting great reviews in all magazines

They rate it second after the KTM.

I saw the Sherco in Paris, man, I need one....

The ccm with the dr400 motor looks promising, looks like it uses the same ktm linkless wp shock and swingarm setup :)

Yep. Happy button, magic button, etc.

I call it the 'piss off my friends button' cuz they hate that they don't have one :D

They look cool, but I wouldn't want to have to try to find parts for most of those bikes.

My guess is because so many of them are made there and most European countries have more lax laws about bikes on roads than we do. For example, street legal ATVs.
