DIY Glide-plate.

Decided $100 for an aluminum skidplate was crap and was after more of a glide plate for logs vs. armor for rock gardens. Got a 1/4" thick sheet of marine HDPE from and drilled two small 6mm holes in the linkage mount for stainless button allens, the middle two oem tabs, and the front I need a larger washer for the 8mm button head bolt. Anyways.... enough blabbing, here's nudez.

I like it.  Did you have to heat it any to make the bend?  How is it holding up?

I tossed it on my pellet stove in the garage & it worked out pretty well. It's cold & no riding yet.
