on sff im testing ics 1.4 and 5mm more preload and thats make to fork linear pressure, stock basevalve of your bike is good

on midvalve i use 1,5mm bleedhole and a midvalve stack as that

26.15x6

15.10x....for make float 0.25

i make tapered alloy midvalve collar cause oem shim hurt the alloy and midvalve dont blow off

reb stack stock with 1.5mm hole is a good baseline.

oil level 230 on damp side  330 on spring side.

The 26s are .15 shims and they hitting the base plate so he uses a tapered one to increase deflection of the shims.

i run 26.15 x 6 shim

and 15.10x 3 or 4 for shut float to 0.25! u must check your float. if is 0.35 add another 15.10

about alloy collar i have also a picture. i make it tapered cause shim hurt  the plate.

i have two-staged the 48mm mv comp. also, i've changed diameter of shims below collar.

the 47 sff was one of my best for riders up to 160 lb,

Guys,  sorry to revive an old thread, i have just aquired a 2015 kxf 250 and the forks are horrendous. I have revlaved my kyb sss forks on my 450 but i dont really know where to start with these. Do you have any suggestions on stacks to try or other mods?

Thanks Andy
