Good after market 2 stroke piston

Hi am rebuilding my 04 Yz 125 and I was wondering what a good piston would be?

wiesco

That's what I was thinking but I was wondering if there are any other good ones

ProX

Yeah, Wiesco, there good too.

A know a few local guys around here that swear by wossener pistons.

Vertex are also good....

So are OEM....

Same.

This.

Personally I'd just buy OEM Yamaha.

What's up joey

I whittled one out of cheese. Performance and reliability are of extreme excellence.

Oem. No set-up tricks or hassles beside ring gap and go.

OEM

Who are you

Thumbs down on Wiseco!!!

Woesnerr if you want forged, otherwise oem, vertex or pro-x.

i would like to know why you dont like wiesco

3 reasons..

1. Yamaha Engineers designed for a cast piston. The metalurgy is different between forged and cast...Wiseco compensates with a loose fitting piston. Hence the Wiseco knock and long warm-ups.

2. Cast pistons feel better...Crisp, smooth and quiet.

3. Nobody in the 90's MX scene ran Wiseco...even teams sponsored by Wiseco ran OEM pistons.

+1 on Wossner :)
