Rekluse in the 01 cr250

I will be installing my new exp 3.0 and it says they are recommending to ditch the aluminum drive plates and run steel. Looks like it is off to the parts store in hopes that they have an extra steel in stock since I have 4 but am missing 1 more to do the job. Doh!

Did all of you running a rekluse exp run steel drive plates. Or did some of you guys keep the aluminum?

Well I spoke with Rekluse, it sounds like the reason for recommending the metal is the usual "oil will get dirty faster with aluminum" They didn't seem to think that it will be any difference in performance at all. Although I did dig up two more steels so all I will have will be one aluminum plate that I will change out once the part shows this next week.

On a side note they made a point to ask me what made my mind up about the buying one to try out and I made sure to put a plug in for Thumpertalk! ?

 

 

Now to get this thing installed and try it out hopefully this weekend!

Check out the Rekluse website ... will become obvious (balls were wearing slots inside the 2.0 disc)
