Another regulator/rectifier - stator question

(92 xr600) I'm gonna rewind my stator. The only things ill be running is headlight, tail/brake light (led) and maybe a horn. I plan on wiring a bridge rectifier with the stock regulator.

My question is:

Will the stock regulator handle the stator after its been re wound?

I'm with you on the stator to. I just installed a Baja Designs kit on my 86 XR600R and would like to know if the stock stator will bee nought to keep up with the extra demand on the stock stator.

im thinking probably not. i use a larger stator and am using the stock reg/ rec thats been running for some years without issues but also have batteries that act as shock absorbers. without a battery, i would use a larger reg/rec combo or risk some smoke where you dont want it.
