FI Mapping Switch

Hey guys,

 

I've got an 09 RMZ 450 and was considering putting a mapping switch on her.

Has anyone got any info on this subject or any opinions one which one is the best, easy to use, is having a switch on the bike better than having a pre programmed, ease to install etc?

I've done a bit of research on it but still haven't got my head around it. Any info would be great

I thought of this some time ago and was told that with the stock ECU that you have to stop the bike to change the mapping and can not do it on the fly, never took this any further so I don't know how true it is.

i dont think there would be a benefit to this.  the coupler on the newer bikes changes only fuel.  its best to get it mapped correctly.  once you do that theres no need to change.
