RG3 tripple clamps

I have a 2012 kx450 and have an opportunity to pick up some basically brand new 22mm offset triple clamps for $100 top and bottom. My question is that the guy selling them says they will fit 06-12 450 but on rg3 website this doesn't look true. any one no what the truth is about what year the clamps fit what year bikes? i think is 06-08 and 09-13 is this true? and can you use the stock stem with RG3 clamps?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like as long as the fork tubes are the same diameter, you're good to go. There's no way they changed the steering stem that much...

Pro Circuit clamps are the same part number from 2006-2012. http://www.procircuit.com/triple-clamp-kit-kx450f-06-12.html  The 13/14 difference is only in the way the number plate mounts.A friend of mine used the same 22mm clamps he had on his 2011 on his 2013 by modifying the number plate mounts.
