Suzuki 2007 SUZUKI LTR450 IGNITION ISSUE

Checking the spark on an 07 LTR450, push the start button and get 2 or 3 sparks then then no more. It will do this again and again. Tried a different spark plug and the same thing. Any ideas on why this would happen?
