Just getting my 06 yz450 ready for Little Sahara this weekend, it's my first time in the sand with a paddle. Leaving out friday. I got a sedona dunatic 10 paddle all mounted up and installed with a new set of steel 13/51 gearing and a new Renthal R1 works chain. stock gearing is 13/49. Anyways, I figured the 2 up gearing would help with the extra weight of the 10 paddle in the dunes and make wheelies more enjoyable. Here's my question. I have a 1/4 maybe a hair less of clearance between the paddles and the linkage with the bike on the stand and the chain adjusted to where i like it (my three finger rule). Do you guys think that's enough clearance that it wont hit when the wheel spins and the tire grows? I already removed the mud flap just incase it tries to rip that off. keep in mind it's a brand new chain and i'm also expecting it to need adjusted a lil bit after my first session. And another thing, I know ya'll love pictures. so heres my fofiddy. blue plastics and yellow anniversary. it currently has the anniversary plastics on it. Let me know what you think!
