Hillbilly Fix for Swingarm Slider?

My swingarm slider is done - it has worn through to the point that the chain can now contact the swingarm.  I ordered a new one from my dealer but they are backlogged all the way to Japan.

Riding season will start in a few weeks.  Is there a hillbilly fix that will let me ride my bike without damage until the new slider arrives?

There are aftermarket ones available.

If you can't get aftermarket you could make one depending what you have local. A plastic company should have some form of kevlar available. You could also try using a solid chunk of trex decking. Not sure how long it will last but might get you through until the part arrives.

Teflon might work better than kevlar I get them confused. Which ever one is known for its "slip/smooth" properties.
