Advise/help needed to install Two Bros slip-on

Recommended Posts

I have an '06 DRZ400S.  I picked up a Two Brother slip-on on Ebay for cheap and it came with the mid-pipe and clamp to tighten to the stock header.

My question is: the stock exhaust had a welded-on "attachment" bracket on the mid-pipe that bolted it to the right passenger foot peg hanger to the sub-frame.

What possible choices do I have to attach the mid-pipe of the new Two Bros. to the sub-frame that does NOT have the same welded-on attachment?

Is there a bracket I can buy or will I have to fabricate something?

Thanks.

The E Model does not have the attachment. You are fine to run without it.

Generally exhausts meant for the S/SM have this extra attachment point.

You can always use a plumbing clamp,  the one that you tightend down,  those are strong enough,   or weld one on,  i would rather have a plumbing clamp on there rather then nothing at all.

actually the E has the attachment as well, its just about 1/2 inch closer to the header.

i dont know why the two brothers pipe does not have that, it is a functional mounting point.
