Ebayed mods

What my DRZ looks like today, been working on this for the last couple of weeks waiting for parts and ghetto fabricating things to fit together. Once I align the LED aux light to shine on the road instead of to the sides I will be pretty satisfied with it all.

Ebay everythang:

Headlight shroud

LED blinkers

LED Aux light (32W, super briiiight)

Handguards

They are a complete knockoff of the barkbuster since I have a barkbuster too the quality is pretty subpar like the metal seems really light, and the screws to the handbars are very small. I do like how lightweight it is compared to the barkbuster, I just don't know how it will hold once dropped if it would bend easily or not. They even copied how it goes into the handlebar ends but it doesn't come with the rubber piece just some cheap clear vinyl hose so I just used duct tape to fill the gap and was able to shove it in to fill the gaps.  But overall I think it would hold up for the price I paid for it. Just insurance for me when I drop my bike to not bend my levers. I could take more close up pictures side by side to barkbuster when I get home.

How do you like those handguards, I was thinking of getting some myself.

i have the same ones in green.  they are cheapy chinese knock offs, but good for the street.  I would not trust em whatsoever for trail riding, but they are fine for street use.

overall i like them a lot, after working out the kinks of installing them.  it took a bit of fiddling.  beats paying the price for the Acerbis they are knocking off anyways.

what are the dimensions on that led block? do you have a link to the light?

The LED lights look similar to the ones I have mounted on the Real E...51 mm x 51 mm x 61 mm deep..

.I think you will be happy with there brightness and field of view...I have them as low beam ,daytime running lights and have a HID as the Highbeam...

It is 3" square block

it comes pack of 2 for $65. It's pretty big and throws a ton of light but can't beat the price and built solid.

There are a set of ebay ones that are smaller for about $100 that wasn't available when I bought mines and I would go for these for sure because of the size and throws enough light for a drz.

The amazon ones would be brighter than the ebay lights (shown in outlaws link)....and brighter than than ones I have been using.....

If the larger 3" square is suitable , go for it......oh and remember we will of course will require pics after install..... ?
