YZ250 primary gear thrust washer fitment

Recommended Posts

Changed my right side crank seal and noticed that the thrust washer (6) is not centered on the crank by the splines.

Does this look right?

How are you supposed to center this thrust washer?

It seems that tightening the primary gear bolt (3) holds (6) in place and against the crank seal.

Does this sound right?

I've had the primary gear bolt come loose due to vibration and looking for sources of these vibes after recent crank replacement.

Wondering if the thrust washer (6) or other washer (no number) could be off center and causing vibes and bolt to come loose.
