Kx 250 jetting

Recommended Posts

Hey guys I have a bone stock 05 kx 250 and I just picked up a FMF Gnarly exhaust and some V Force reeds. I was wondering if I should run stock jetting or tune it? I called FMF and they don't have the jetting specks for my year bike. I live in Southern California and ride at all the local tracks, plus high desert, and glamis occasionally.

If you got any tips for me that would be much appreciated. Thanks

I would run it like it currently is and see how it runs.  Then you can get an idea of what needs to be changed based on how the bike acts.

Stock jetting sucks on those bikes.  And like Chokey said, the Gnarly pipe it will prob be rich.  I bet you'd prob need a 40-42 pilot and a 155-158 main.
