Here's is what I came up with on the fly just trying to increase the low speed for now so I added a few face shims to what I found inside.

Basically what came out of there is very similar to the 2003 comp stack. It wasn't stiff enough and was wallowing and kind of mushy.

I also am running a 5.2 spring and I'm sure that's too soft.. I'm 209 lbs... But I can get the sag correct so not sure what to go to..

What sags ? The cr linkage is aggressive and can use soft springs but I think a 5.4/5.5 may work also

Hmm I'm 185-190, and I run a 5.5kg on my CR to get 35-40mm free and 100-105mm rider.  5.2kg sounds about 5 sizes too low.  Wouldn't even bother with the valving for the moment.

Do you happen to have a lot of linkage play??  Wonder if you might be measuring in an extra 15mm or so of free sag.

I swear that's what I'm getting.. I have checked it numerous times just because I thought it was off, I have 10mm of preload on it. Heck I even called racetech to be sure and they said it should be fine as long as I am not getting coil bind

Oh and linkage is good and tight.

Is the rate of the spring marked on it?  Ever had it rate checked?

You can use the 5.2 upto 185 so this is not making sense , I think the spring is stiffer than its rate suggests , do you know how much preload you have ?

Agree with Mog, something is haywire here. Just like this STUPID underline that happens frequently. Wacko spring rate, wacko TT.

10 mm of preload. And it's printed on the spring with racetechs part number.

Regardless of the rate increasing my damping is what I was shooting for I know it will still be a little soft but not waaaay off.. I've been riding it like this since I bought the bike.

Those numbers are not bad but a 5.5 would give a stiffer feel as it will hold the rear up better
