Aftermarket exhaust on 1990 TC 610 "UP-TITE RACING"

Recommended Posts

Hi

Iam thinking about buying this old cheap exhaust, just for the fun of it:

"UP-TITE RACING - exhaust"
http://www.ebay.com/itm/HUSQVARNA-610TE-610-TE-EXHAUST-FULL-PIPE-UP-TITE-RACING-1994-/271460068825?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f3447edd9&vxp=mtr

I know its cheap, but I also need it shipped to Denmark, + Customs and VAT.
So would like to hear you experienced guys opinions first.

I quess it's louder then stock? or what? if yes how much? (I would like a loud exhaust.)
How is the sound compared to stock? - higher or lover pitch?

Those supertrapp spark arrestors. I guess one can just take those out right? (We have no spark arrestor laws in Denmark)

Thanks alot guys! :-)

The supertrap has been around for many years, in bikes and cars. It uses a series of removable diffuser discs to quiet the sound (I use that term loosely). Back when those were popular, there were not near the environmental awareness concerns there are today about having a quiet bike. Up-tite is the house grand from George, a well known Husky dealer/aficaianado, and probalby one of the most well known names in the Husky game in the US. He sells Beta now I believe, lol.  But George is the man. George Erl
