Cylinder Pitting, 2007 CRF230F

I'm looking at buying a used 2007 CRF230F and the seller says there is some minor pitting on the aluminum cylinder.  Is this a major problem that needs to be fixed?  If so, how expensive of a repair is this?

Turns out the pitting is on the outside of the engine, so it's just cosmetic (he lives near the ocean).  Picking the bike up Saturday afteroon.  This is my first bike--pretty stoked .

That cosmetic stuff wont hurt the bike however you might check the shock shaft and fork tubes for rust pitting.
