How far(woods) can I expect on the standard tank, old slow C rider? Local Honda dealer just acquired an out of business  Suzy dealership and I can get a '12 pretty cheap. Thanks.

I'm not positive about distance but you can expect about 1.5 hours out of the stock tank without any extreme revving of the motor. Im a B rider on the track, not quite as fast in the woods but that is about what I get out of a tank.

 

Edit: The CRF tank is even smaller, I suspect you could get even longer out of it with a remap. You won't be disappointed with the RMZ.

About 40-45 miles.

At Hollister I did three 24 mile loopes with an IMS tank and had about an 1/8 at the end.

Yeah, IMS has a tank for the newer RMZs. Its a 2.6 gallon. I have a 2012 and the best money I spent on her was suspension. If your doing hare scrambles or desert its a must.
