Cam / Jetting / Timing ? 2006 CRF 450

2006 crf 450 


New intake valves New stage 2 hot cam new fmf power bomb header only New fmf power up jet kit. 

Temp 70 degress below 1,000 ft  asl

Timing it spot on money. 

Fuel Screw at 2 even. 


Jets 45 pilot 

stock leak 55 I believe 

165 main 

FMF needle will have to double check the numbers 

Boyseen quick shot 2 accel pump cover


When running bike runs with my buddy's 11 fuel injection. no pops no back fires no nothing. Runs great idles down great.


The problem unless I aim a heater at the engine block the diesel wanna be wont start hardly at all.  have to choke pump fuel in and let it spitter sputer 10 times before it will fire and actually start idling. I am thinking advanced timing one tooth or retard one tooth? Bike use to fire one kick every time.

When I did the valves this year I completely dissembled carb and dunked it in the overnight carb cleaner. The carb should be spotless I assume the pilot circuit is working based on with a 45 it actually starts with a 42( Stock Pilot) Its harder to start. I have checking the timing marks and key way a few times.
