Anti-Slip Mods to Bike Ramp

Recommended Posts

Attached photo shows a steel C-Channel that i want to use for a bike loading ramp connected onto my Utility.

i will only be walking bike up whilst walking up beside it.

What form of anti-slip modification can i implement onto the surface of this ramp to prevent tire slippage.

Screw in or weld on ridges, anti-slip paint, etc....?

I think grip tape like they put on skateboards would do pretty well. It's pretty much just sand paper with a sticky back so it'll stick to wood.

Grip tape, or the rubber in a can stuff that guy sprays on the bottom of the John boat. I used that for a little wooden fmx rap and it did good things

indeed - definitely - the strap is a must.

any good ideas to lock in the bottom of the ramp to the lip of the tray - without drilling any holes in the tray lip?

i am planning on welding on an angled piece at the top to transition better over the top....
