Idle adjustment?

Recommended Posts

I have a 2014 DRZ400S and I'm noticing that after warm up, but before I hit the road, the bike has trouble idling when I remove the choke. I think this could be remedied by adjusting my idle a tad higher. Can anyone help me find the idle adjust screw? I assume it's a simple screw adjust...

Should be a white knob under left side of carb.

Adjusting to a higher idle to "fix" a situation is not the answer. The idle should be set when fully warm to the spec and if there is another issue, then one should find it and fix it. If the problem really is an idle set the correct way that is set too low, no problem, you should check that. A new bike with stock settings and a plugged fuel screw is probably running very lean and your answer may lie there.

My two cents........
