1987 DR 100 project

Recommended Posts

I am almost ready to sell my project from this winter and i am looking at an 87 DR 100 to work on over the summer, as far as i know the bike is running and doesn't need any major work, the guys wants $400 i'd probably pay $200, i'm just wondering how hard it is to find parts for them

Cosmetically, very. Mechanically, theyre a debored 80s DR125, which evolved into the DRZ125 and lost a gear.

I'm about to break / part out a late eighties - 91ish ( kickstart model) DR125s so if u need let me know!

It's a bit rough and leaks oil at the shifter but a couple of weeks ago after a 5 month lay up I walked up to it and turned the kick lever by hand twice then kicked it and it started first kick!

BruceD turbo charged one. They're decent bikes, lots of compatibility of drive train components between the DR/SP/DR-Z 100-200 frame components between the DR/SP 100-200 too.
