2006 TE450 Backfire on deceleration

Hey guys need advice. My Husky ran great until now. It still has plenty of power but now it's hard to start and I have to keep reving it to stay running for at least 5 minutes after that it idles fine, also it backfires violently(thru the exhaust) as I let off the throttle or down shift. Any ideas??

Cracked intake boot. RTV is a temp fix, those things are hard to come by, waited several months for one to come in. Very common failure on these old beasts too

Exactly. I had to replace mine a couple months ago.

It was only like 38$ or something. Check Halls, George, MotoExcotica, then maybe MSR
