Cr 500 wrist pin bearing gap?

Recommended Posts

If you mean "inside" the piston where the wrist pin connects the piston to con. rod, then I believe so. My 125 had a fairly significant gap with the new and old piston. As far as I know, a little side to side play is fine. It's the up and down play that is worrying.

Thank you for the replies! It is piston sliding side to side on the wrist pin with the cylinder off. No bearing play. Bearing itself slides side to side out of the rod end with the cylinder off. I'm having trouble posting pics, but I will try again. I have a picture of it. Thanks!
